Former Player Earns 700th Win, Tuesday's TV Information

[7:15 p.m.]Congratulations to former Marquette men's basketball player Jim Smith, who captured his 700th victory as a head coach Saturday night. Smith is the coach at Saint John's University in Minnesota, a NCAA Division III program.

Saint John's University head coach Jim Smith became the second coach in NCAA Division III history and the 27th coach in all of college basketball to record 700 career wins as the Johnnies defeated NCAA Division II MSU-Moorhead 81-79 on Saturday, Nov. 21, in St. Cloud.

Practice Guest: Former MU assistant coach Dale Layer made an appearance at Monday's practice at the Bradley Center. Layer and his Liberty squad will face Northwestern Tuesday night before competing this weekend in the Chicago Invitational. The Flames lost at Notre Dame Sunday night.
