Golden Eagles Put Personalities On Display During Video Production

Sept. 12, 2009

Milwaukee - The Marquette men's basketball team was hard at work Saturday in Al McGuire Center, but the squad wasn't conducting workouts or an open gym session.

Saturday's schedule included a five-hour video shoot with Tri-Marq, Inc., in the Kasten Gym, an annual event that provides all of the footage needed for the in-game elements at home games. The entire roster participates and records the in-game prompts, Christmas songs, starting lineup videos and much more.

"We have a lot of fun with it," senior Lazar Hayward said. "We know the fans enjoy the video at games and we want to do anything we can to make the atmosphere the best it can be."

This season's survey of the team included questions regarding who is the best dancer on the squad, as well as who eats the most. Golden Eagle fans will have to attend home games at the Bradley Center to see which player tallied the most votes.
