Robinson Named a State Farm Coaches All-America Team Finalist

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), in cooperation with State Farm®, today announced the finalists for the 2011 NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Team.

Senior guard Angel Robinson has been selected as one of 40 finalists and is in the running for selection to the 10-member State Farm Coaches' All-America Team.

Robinson led the Golden Eagles to 24 wins, the second most in program history, and a trip to the NCAA Championship Second Round. The All-BIG EAST First Team selection boasted averages of a team best 13.6 points, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game, and was second on the team with 5.3 rebounds per game. Robinson poured in 19 points in each of MU's NCAA Tournament games against Texas and Tennessee.

The 2011 NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Team will be announced at 9 a.m. EDT Saturday, April 2, in Indianapolis during the WBCA National Convention, which is being held in conjunction with the 2011 NCAA® Women's Final Four®.
