Sports32 Announces 2012-13 MU Basketball Coverage

Nov. 12, 2012

Time Warner Cable Sports32, Marquette Athletics’ exclusive home for men’s and women’s basketball television coverage, has announced its broadcast schedule for each program’s respective 2012-13 campaign.

Sports32 will produce a total of eight men’s and women’s basketball games in 2012-13. Live coverage begins with Tuesday night’s 8 p.m. CT matchup with SE Louisiana. Along with four non-conference men’s basketball telecasts, Sports32 will also air six league contests as a partner in the BIG EAST Network.

Dennis Krause and Tim Van Vooren will split the play-by-play duties and former MU standout Jim McIlvaine (analyst) will call the action for the Sports32 productions.

“Inside Marquette Basketball with Buzz Williams” also returns in 2012-13. The 30-minute, weekly program also airs at various times throughout the Sports32 schedule. Krause returns as host and the show includes comments from Williams, player profiles and other exclusive features.

Sports32 will also air four women’s basketball broadcasts and feature 30-minute preview shows prior to each of the matchups. Marquette’s outings with Green Bay (Dec. 8), Syracuse (Jan. 5), DePaul (Feb. 2) and Cincinnati (March 5) will air live from the Al McGuire Center. The station will also carry live each of the team’s games with nationally ranked Connecticut (Jan. 12, Feb. 5) through a partnership with SNY.

Steve “The Homer” True (play-by-play) and Kareeda Chones-Aguam (analyst) will be courtside for the call.

The “Terri Mitchell Show” will be back once again on Sports32, with Chones-Aguam as host of the program.
