MILWAUKEE - For their roles in sweeps of Seton Hall and St. John's over the weekend, freshman outside hitter Autumn Bailey and senior setter Elizabeth Koberstein of the Marquette University women's volleyball team each earned mention on the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles (19-5, 10-1 BIG EAST) are receiving votes in Monday's AVCA Coaches Poll with 36 points, and sit two matches ahead of Xavier and Creighton in the BIG EAST standings. They are also 11th nationally in NCAA Division I RPI.

Bailey led Marquette over the weekend with 4.67 kills per set, including a match-high of 16 kills against St. John's on Sunday afternoon. The outside hitter also hit .444 in Friday's sweep of Seton Hall with 12 kills against zero errors and 11 digs.

Koberstein helped Marquette extend its home winning streak to eight matches, including a streak of 22-consecutive sets won, by averaging 13.67 assists per set. She leads the BIG EAST and ranks fourth in NCAA Division I with 11.99 assists per set on the season. The Madison, Wis., native has helped Marquette hit .285 this season, the ninth-best mark in all of NCAA Division I.
