MILWAUKEE--The Marquette women's basketball program will host a preseason open house at the Al McGuire Center on Tuesday, October 27th. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
The event will provide an opportunity to hear from head coach Carolyn Kieger, mingle with team members and assistant coaches, and tour the arena's facilities, including the brand new women's basketball locker room.
"This event provides a unique opportunity for our fans to have an all-access tour of the Al McGuire Center," says Kieger. "They will be able to see firsthand what sets Marquette apart from a facility standpoint and what other training practices are involved in building an elite level program."
Snacks will be provided through the evening, along with giveaways and photo opportunities with the team, mascot and cheerleaders. The ticket office will also be open to purchase or change your seats for the upcoming season.
"I want our program to become a staple in the Milwaukee community and by opening our doors my hope is that people will feel welcome and will embrace this year's team throughout the season and years to come," says Kieger.
