Clarke Earns First BIG EAST Weekly Honor

NEW YORK -- Marquette University sophomore attackman Kyran Clarke was named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for the first time in his career on Monday afternoon following a six-point performance in MU's Saturday win over St. John's.

Clarke tied a program record against the Red Storm in a 14-12 victory with five assists and also added his seventh goal of the season. The native of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia is the fifth-leading point producer for the Golden Eagles this season with 16 points on seven goals and nine assists. He also had one assist in MU's 9-3 loss at Bellarmine on Tuesday.

Coming off a 1-1 week, Marquette fell to No. 15 in the USILA Coaches' Poll and No. 16 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll on Monday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles face No. 1 Notre Dame on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Central time at Arlotta Stadium in a game broadcast on ESPN3 and through the WatchESPN app.
