BOLOGNA - The Marquette University men's lacrosse team will play its first of three games against Team England on Friday, June 17 at 11:30 a.m. Central time (6:30 p.m. local) in Prato, Italy at ASD Maliseti.
The Golden Eagles will then host a combined clinic with the English as well as Italian players on Saturday at 7 a.m. CT (2 p.m. local), followed by their second game of the trip at 9 a.m. (4 p.m. local). Saturday will also include a tour of Prato and a civic reception with the mayor prior to the pregame clinic.
The final game in Europe will be played early Sunday morning as MU faces England for the third time in as many days at 2:30 a.m. CT (9:30 a.m. local).
The Golden Eagles began their time in Italy on Tuesday with a tour of Verona, followed by tours of St. Mark's Square and the Grand Canal in Venice on Wednesday. After concluding a pasta-making demonstration in the culinary capital of Italy, Bologna, on Thursday, Marquette will arrive in Florence to learn more about the home of the European Renaissance before Friday's game.
Once the final horn has sounded on Sunday, the Golden Eagles will finish their European trip with tours of Pisa and Rome before returning to the United States on Thursday, June 23.
