Women's Basketball's Summer Vacation

Most of today was spent travelling, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't eventful. After breakfast we hopped a bus that took us to the Baltic Sea. We boarded a very large "ferry" that took us to the island of Gotland. The three-hour ride was a little too much for some of us, so we took a little nap. However, we were well-rested for the beautiful island of Gotland, where a Medieval Fair was taking place. It was great! Everyone was dressed in costume, and put on shows and set up shops. Unfortunately, today was the last day of the week-long event - but we took PLENTY of pictures!
We also had a terrific meal on the island. Some of us ordered what translates to be "filet of ox", but it tasted great. Others had chicken, slamon and even pizza (Don't worry, Moms - we're all eating!).
We finished the night soaking up some medieval culture. There was plenty of it, as there were hundreds of people in the town square dancing, eating and drinking, all in costume! Tmorrow, we're getting ready for a big game against Visby, one of the better teams in Sweden.
Better get some rest....
