Women's Basketball's Summer Vacation

Today was a "treat yourself" day for us, and the majority of the team treated themselves to a lazy morning in bed. Once we finally got out and about, we wanted to explore the city. However, the festival right outside spread every-which-way and we never quite moved beyond it. So we had to content ourselves with more shopping.

Our pre-game meal had a unique touch to it this afternoon. We ate at an italian restaurant. Only we would search out past in Sweden. It was very authentic, however, and Jon (Cain) enjoyed a whale of a meal. Today was also our favorite compliance coordinator's birthday. Yes - Kathryn Statz got to celebrate her special day in Europe. We couldn't find a cake, so we took her to Burger King!

Our final game of the newly-dubbed "Swedish Championship Tour" was this evening. Malmo is in the elite division of the professional circuit (the best in Europe). We played another great game and won by a score of 81-56!
