ST. LOUIS (AP) - Justin Love scored 18 points to lead Saint Louis to a 67-52 win over Marquette Wednesday.
Love led the Billikens (11-7, 3-3 Conference USA) in scoring for the 12th time this season.
Marquette (11-7, 4-3) was led by Brian Wardle, who scored 24 points and scored in double figures for the 13th consecutive game.
Maurice Jeffers added 12 points and Dave Fergerson had 11.
Saint Louis used a 17-9 run to close out the first half and take a 33-23 halftime lead.
The Golden Eagle's only lead was 2-0 in the game's first minute. The closest they got in the second half was 37-33 after a 3-pointer by Wardle with 15 minutes remaining.
Saint Louis proceeded to go on a 22-10 run - with Love scoring seven points and Jeffers adding five - to extinguish the Golden Eagles' threat.
