Women's Soccer Team Selected for NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind - Marquette, by virtue of winning the Conference USA Women's Soccer Tournament, qualified for the NCAA College Cup Tournament and will play Midwestern Collegiate Conference Champion Wright State (12-7-1) in the first round on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at Valley Fields. This is the first time that Marquette has hosted an NCAA Tournament game. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and youth. For more information on tickets call (414) 288-GOMU.
The Golden Eagles (19-2-1) make their second trip to the NCAA College Cup Tournament in as many years. Last season, Marquette advanced to the second round with a win over Missouri before losing to Clemson in the second round.
The winner of the Marquette/Wright State contest will face Texas A&M (17-6) in the second round in College Station, Texas. That match is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12.
