Princeville, Hawaii.-- The Marquette University golf team improved in its second tournament this weekend , finishing 6th at the Kauai Collegiate Cup, which concluded tonight. The Golden Eagles shot 896 (300-300-296) over the two-day event at the Princeville Makai Course. San Diego captured the team title with an 868. Senior Tim Jacobs led the Golden Eagles with a three-round score of 217 (74-72-71), good for a tie for 4th in the field of 55. Western Kentucky's Charlie Cornette took individual title honors after defeating San Diego's Ryan Hanratty.
