Brian Wardle Sparks NIT All-Star Win

Milwaukee, Wis. -- Marquette's Brian Wardle (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) totaled a team-high 16 points and dished out five assists in helping the NIT All-Star Team to a 91-78 win over Team Uniqua on Wednesday in the team's opening game of its European Tour.

Wardle, an All-Conference USA Second-Team selection a year ago, connected on seven-of-10 from the floor and two-of-three from the foul line against the Austrian-based squad. In addition to his offensive totals, Wardle grabbed four rebounds.
