Men's Track Squad Continues Drake Relays Competition

Milwaukee -- The Marquette men's track and field team competed in Day 2 of the Drake Relays on Friday with various relay teams seeing most of the action.
The 4xMile relay team of junior Luke Kunze (Wausau, Wis.), senior Joe Herington (Westerville, Ohio), and freshmen Bo Erickson (Two Rivers, Wis.) and Ryan Jacobson (Sister Bay, Wis.) posted an 11th-place finish with a time of 17:16.01.
The 4x400 relay unit of sophomore Marek Krawczyk (Muskego, Wis.) junior Brian Hardin (Des Moines, Iowa), freshman Ernest Gibson (Milwaukee, Wis.), and Ken Mueller (Racine, Wis.) registered a time of 3:17.26.
Senior Greg Uher (Wilber, Neb.) came away with a seventh-place finish in the discus with a a mark of 171'03".
The final day of competition is Saturday.
