ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Dwyane Wade scored a career-high 35 points and Cordell Henry added 27 as Marquette beat DePaul 87-68 Saturday.
Marquette's Golden Eagles (15-3, 4-1 Conference USA) won for the fourth consecutive time while the Blue Demons (7-9, 0-5) have lost five straight.
DePaul took a 50-49 lead with a Lance Williams jumper with 15:45 remaining, but that would be the last time they would be ahead.
Wade then ignited the Eagles with a 3-pointer as the shot clock was winding down to give Marquette a 52-50 edge. This sparked a 15-0 run to give Marquette a 64-50 lead with 11:48 remaining. Wade had nine points during that streak and ended it with an alley-oop dunk from Henry.
Marquette extended their lead on a spectacular reverse alley-oop dunk by Wade from Henry to give Marquette a 79-65 lead with 2:51 remaining.
Wade and Henry combined for 36 points in the first half, as Marquette took a 44-41 lead into the locker room. Wade had 20 and Henry had 16.
DePaul was paced by Joe Tulley's 17 points, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range. Williams added 15 points for DePaul.
