Marquette lost 11 strokes to the leaders, Jacksonville State. Through 36 holes, Marquette is at 66-over, 534. Jacksonville State is at 30-over 598. Fredrik Ohlsson of Francis Marion shot his second straight 71 and leads among individuals with an even-par 142 after 36 holes.
Freshman Kyle Murphy posted Marquette's second best total of the day, a 79. He is still pacing all MU golfers at 155. He is in a tie for 27th. Sophomore Nathan Colson shot an 81 and is in 47th place at 158.
Two MU golfers are at 163 in a tie for 60th. Jason Gaare shot a team-best 78 and is one of the two players tied for 60th. Freshman Steve Sass is also tied for that spot. Senior Matt Hilton rounds out Marquette's fivesome at 165. He is in 65th place.
