Former Marquette basketball great Dwyane Wade will be presented his 2003 Conference USA Championship ring during a halftime ceremony of the Milwaukee Bucks-Miami Heat game Friday night at the Bradley Center.
Golden Eagles Head Coach Tom Crean, joined by Wade's former teammates and coaches, will be on hand to make the presentation.
Although currently sidelined with a wrist injury, Wade is enjoying an outstanding rookie campaign and ranks third in scoring average among all NBA rookies with 16.8 points per game.
The 6-foot 4-inch guard earned first team All-American honors and was a finalist for the Naismith Award last season in leading Marquette to its first Final Four appearance since 1977.
Gary D'Amato of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel profiled Wade in Friday's edition. You can read the story by clicking here.
