Players and Coaches Spring Clean
4/9/2004 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
On Saturday, April 17, members of the Marquette men?s basketball program took part in Marquette University's 15th annual Hunger Clean-Up.
Throughout the morning, three teams of players and coaches traveled to Milwaukee area homes and assisted the elderly with a variety of spring-cleaning projects that included raking, gardening, lawn care and window-washing.
Hunger Clean-Up is Marquette University?s largest one-day community service project. The annual spring event combines community service and fundraising, while significantly impacting the Milwaukee Community. Since the program?s creation in 1990, volunteers have raised and donated more than $235,000 to various local organizations.
