Voting will run from today until next Monday morning, Aug. 30, at www.ConferenceUSA.com/moments. The moment that receives the most votes from Conference USA fans will be revealed next Monday afternoon, Aug. 30. Below are the 10 moments that fans will be voting on:
? December 1996
Charlotte becomes the first team in Conference USA to reach a national semifinal and the first men's soccer team to represent the league at the NCAA Final Four.
? December 1996
Louisville is the first C-USA volleyball team to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
? November 28, 1998
Cincinnati posts the league's first men's basketball victory over a No. 1 team, defeating top-ranked Duke at the Great Alaska Shootout. It would be the Blue Devils' only loss during the 98-99 regular season.
? December 1998
Tulane caps off an undefeated (12-0) football season with a win over BYU in the Liberty Bowl.
? March 2000
UAB becomes the first women's basketball team in C-USA to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
? May 2000
Jenny Adams of Houston wins the first individual national championship for C-USA in women's outdoor track and field in the long jump.
? May 2000
In the league's first season of softball competition, DePaul and Southern Miss make the conference's first appearances in the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.
? June 2001
Tulane becomes the first baseball team in C-USA history to appear in the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
? September 2002
Louisville defeats No. 4 Florida State, giving C-USA its highest ranked football win ever.
? April 2003
Marquette becomes the first C-USA men's basketball team to reach the NCAA Final Four.
C-USA will commemorate its 10th Anniversary milestone throughout the year with a multimedia campaign celebrating the past, present and future of the league. Several activities have been planned for the upcoming season that capture the history of C-USA and promote the student-athletes' achievements in all 19 conference-sponsored sports.
