Fan Fest 2005 Set for Sunday, October 16

To help usher in the 2005-06 season - Marquette's first in BIG EAST play - the women's basketball team will hold its third Annual Fan Fest on Sunday, Oct. 16 between 2-4 p.m. at the Al McGuire Center.

In conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, donations will be collected for the Milwaukee Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program (MBCCAP). For a donation of $10, fans will receive a pink Marquette women's basketball t-shirt, with all donations going to MBCCAP.

The afternoon's festivities will include an intrasquad scrimmage with the Golden Eagles as well as shooting contests, a fun zone for the kids, and a chance to interact with the team with an autograph and picture session, and free food.
