Mitchell to Present at Nike Clinic

MILWAUKEE ? Head women's basketball coach Terri Mitchell will be part of a spectacular lineup of coaches presenting at the Nike Championship Basketball Coaching Clinic at the Al McGuire Center, beginning on Friday, April 22.
Mitchell will be presenting on Sunday, April 24 and she is the only woman on the panel. She will join head men's coach Tom Crean as presenters on the agenda. Other coaches presenting include Jim Boeheim (Syracuse), Gary Williams (Maryland), Skip Prosser (Wake Forest), Bruce Weber (Illinois), Dick Bennett (Washington State), Dennis Felton (Georgia), Ernie Kent (Oregon) and Jack Bennett (Wis.-Stevens Point).
"This is an excellent opportunity for me to be among so many great coaches," head coach Terri Mitchell said. "I always look forward to observing other coaches, listening to their philosophies and seeing the drills they use. I am also looking forward to sharing our defensive philosophy and talking about how much it has meant to our program.?
Mitchell will be presenting on trapping defense. It is the second Nike Championship Basketball Coaching Clinic that she has been a part of.
