August 22, 2005 - Although the basketball season is still three months away, workers at the Bradley Center were busy this weekend putting the finishing touches on the men?s basketball team?s new playing surface.
Similar to the two floors at the Al McGuire Center, the Golden Eagles? new Bradley Center floor features the new athletics monogram at half court.
Fans will get their first opportunity to see MU on the new floor downtown when they host Michigan Tech on November 10.
One of the premier facilities in the country, the Bradley Center has served as the home for Marquette basketball since 1988. The Golden Eagles are 210-68 in 17 years at the arena.
