Women's Basketball Fan Fest Just Days Away

MILWAUKEE - In conjunction with official start of the 2006-07 season and Marquette Madness the women's basketball team will host its fourth annual Fan Fest at the Al McGuire Center on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and admission is free.
The day's festivities will include an intrasquad scrimmage with the Golden Eagles as well as shooting contests, a fun zone for the kids, and a chance to interact with the team with an autograph and picture session. Camera's are encouraged to be brought.
Marquette women's basketball is on the hunt for 800 seasons tickets and is just short of that goal. Season ticket packages start as low as $40 for all 15 home contests. Fans who purchase season tickets from now until the goal is reached will have their name put in a drawing for a $300 Visa gift card and an MU Prize Pack.
Additional ticket information on 3-pack and 10-pack ticket packages will be on hand, as well as "Pink Out" t-shirts to help fight breast cancer will be available for a $10 donation.
