The Marquette women's basketball team will be looking to bounce back from its 84-76 loss at Virginia last Friday when it hosts in-state rival Wis.-Green Bay on Monday, Nov. 20, for a 7 p.m. tip-off at "The Al." Wis.-Green Bay is 1-1 entering its Monday evening meeting with Marquette at the Al McGuire Center. The Phoenix fell to Kansas State in their season opener, 72-67, but bounced back to defeat Oakland at home, 90-68. Wis.-Green Bay returns all five starters from last season that went 23-7 overall in 2005-06 that included an appearance in the WNIT. The Phoenix bowed out to Iowa State in the first round. For the fifth straight season, Wis.-Green Bay was selected as the Horizon League's favorite to win the conference title. Nicole Soulis, Wis.-Green Bay's top returnee was selected as the Horizon League's Preseason Player of the Year. In two contests this season Soulis has averaged a team leading 20.0 ppg. and 10.5 rpg.

Marquette will play its next five games on the road including three in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Golden Eagles will be participating in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, V.I. There MU will play Western Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 23, Auburn on Thursday, Nov. 24 and close out the tournament playing Xavier on Friday, Nov. 25. The Golden Eagles return to Milwaukee to play Wis.-Milwaukee on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Klotsche Center and then head to Texas to take on Rice on Sunday, Dec. 3.
