MILWAUKEE (AP) - Danielle Kamm had a career-high 26 points, including six 3-pointers, as No. 21 Marquette rolled to a 89-38 rout Thursday over Manhattan.
The victory was the 10th straight for Marquette, off to its best start in school history at 11-1.
Christina Quaye added 16 points, including 10-of-13 free throws for the Golden Eagles. Kelly Lam made all four of her shots and had a career-high 17 points.
Caitlin Flood led Manhattan - two games removed a 70-30 loss at Marist - with 11 points.
Marquette's win streak is the second longest in school history. The Golden Eagles won 13 in a row during the 1997-98 season, when they finished 22-7 and lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The 89 points marked a season high for the Golden Eagles, and the 51-point margin was five shy of a school-record 56-point victories against Ball State in 1993 and Mount Mary College in 1984.
Kamm, who made 10-of-15 shots, came in averaging 10.4 points per game but topped that by late in the first half. Her six 3-pointers were also a career best.
Manhattan made the opening basket and never led again, as the Golden Eagles had a pair of 9-0 runs to open 13-4 and 26-11 leads early. Manhattan cut the lead to 11, 26-15, but Marquette, with five points from Kamm, responded with a 14-0 run to end the first half with a 46-18 advantage.
Jasmine McCullough, who had had started every game for Marquette the last two seasons, sat out with a knee injury and was replaced by Svetlana Kovalenko. McCullough is expected back for Marquette's next game on Dec. 29.
