Volleyball Set for Spring Season

The Golden Eagles will start off their spring on March 25 in Madison, Wis., at the UW Field House where they will match up against Wisconsin, Northern Iowa and Iowa State. The Badgers were an NCAA Tournament participant this past fall advancing to the Elite Eight before bowing out to eventual NCAA Champion Washington, 3-0.
On April 1, Marquette will host three opponents that made trips to the Al McGuire Center during the 2005 season. BIG EAST Conference foe, DePaul, along with Wis.-Green Bay and Iowa will all be in action at "The Al" beginning at 9 a.m.
The Golden Eagles will close out their spring season with a matches against the perennial college teams at the home Sports Performance Volleyball, the Great Lakes Center, in Aurora, Ill., on April 22.
"We are really looking forward to playing this spring season," said head coach Pati Rolf. "Terri Angst will be back and will be playing with us for the first time ever. She has been training hard and we are thrilled to finally have her in the line up. We have had gotten in some good spring practices and we are excited to take to the court for competition. We will be playing some good teams this spring that will help us prepare for the upcoming fall season."
