Six Members of Basketball Team Receive Diplomas

MILWAUKEE - Sunday, May 21, 2006, was as an important day for a group of Marquette men's basketball players and student managers as they completed their educational goals and received bachelor's degrees during commencement ceremonies held at the Bradley Center.
Joe Chapman, Chris Grimm, Mike Kinsella and Steve Novak, along with student managers Andy Klister and Matt Willis earned bachelor's degrees in their respective field of study. Chapman, Kinsella and Novak each received bachelor's degrees from the College of Communications, while Grimm received his bachelor's degree in history with a concentration in secondary education.
Chapman, Grimm and Novak join 16 other MU basketball players who have exhausted their eligibility during the Tom Crean era and have gone on to earn their degree. Kinsella will be in graduate school during his senior year.
