Todd Named to Michigan/Pepsi All-Tournament Team

MILWAUKEE - Junior Kimberley Todd was named to the Michigan/Pepsi Challenge All-Tournament Team Saturday at the conclusion of play. The outside hitter helped lead the Marquette volleyball team to a 1-2 record over the weekend in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Todd averaged 4.30 K/G and 3.20 D/G in three games at Cliff Keen Arena. She recorded a double-double (19 K, 15 D) in a 3-0 loss to Virginia, her fourth of the year, and led the Golden Eagles with 20 kills in a 3-1 defeat of Pacific.
Katie Bruzdzinkski of Michigan was named the tournament MVP. Bruzdzinski, along with teammates Lindsay Miller and Stesha Selsky were named to the all-tournament team for the Wolverines. Sarah Kirkwood and Katie Oakes of Virginia, and Johnanna Hilbers of Pacific were also selected to the squad.
Marquette is back in action Friday at the Al McGuire Center when it hosts San Francisco at 7 p.m. in the Marquette Challenge.
