Men's Golf Opens 2008 Spring Season This Weekend

MILWAUKEE - Marquette University opens the spring portion of its 2007-08 men's golf season this weekend at the Ron Smith/USF Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Fla.
Golden Eagles junior Mike Van Sickle won the tournament last year. If he can repeat as the individual champion, Marquette could also walk away with its third team title of the season - a school record -- after the Golden Eagles won two events in the fall.
The three-day tournament begins Friday, Feb. 29 and wraps up on Sunday, March 2. Follow live scoring of the tournament at GolfStat.com
