MILWAUKEE -
The Marquette women's soccer team held a TOPSoccer Clinic prior to the Golden Eagles match versus Connecticut on Sunday, Sept. 28, at Valley Fields. TOPSoccer is an official U.S. Youth Soccer program enriching the lives of young athletes with disabilities through the game of soccer.
"Our program is proud to be associated with the Wisconsin TOPSoccer Association. We have enjoyed a long standing relationship, which has been very rewarding for all of us. Besides spending time with the kids, it is wonderful to these young people grow up. Sharing our passion of the game with them, and experiencing their excitement and enthusiasm is a tremendous reward for all of us."
TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4-19, who has a mental or physical disability.
The goal of TOPSoccer is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the U.S. Youth Soccer family.
