Angel Robinson Named to BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll

MILWAUKEE --Sophomore guard Angel Robinson was named to the BIG EAST?Honor Roll announced by conference officials Monday afternoon. It is Robinson's second time on the Honor Roll after being named the BIG EAST Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 29.

Robinson led the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 week with a win over then-No. 10/4 Notre Dame on Jan. 13 and a loss at No. 23/23 Rutgers on Jan. 18. The win over Notre Dame was the program's first ever win against a top 10 opponent and Robinson was a key catalyst in that victory, providing a game-high 19 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. In the game against Rutgers, Robinson chipped in 13 points and five rebounds.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. when they play at Georgetown.
