The first 2009 NCAA women's volleyball ratings percentage index (RPI) was released Monday afternoon and the Golden Eagles check in at No. 88 in the initial list.
Michigan is the highest-ranked (No. 6) opponent that MU has played this year, while fellow-BIG EAST member Notre Dame enters the rankings at 16.
Dayton registers as Marquette's best win of the year with the Flyers sitting 31st.
Marquette is one of eight BIG EAST schools sitting inside the top 100.
