[3:51 p.m.] Marquette women's basketball head coach Terri MItchell is a highly regarded public speaker and speaks often at numerous functions in the Marquette and Milwaukee communities. She motivates and encourages audience members to do what they love and surround themselves with positive influences. Today Mitchell presented a Lunch and Learn program sponsored by the Centennial Celebration of Women at Marquette. Today's motivational talk was "Living to Win Big - Making a Difference in the World."
All the way from practice planning to game time execution, she involved the audience on what it takes to succeed and the type of young women she wants on her team.
"If you are going to win big or make a difference, you must first decide it is worth it." -- Terri Mitchell
