Five National Marquette Day Contest Winners Announced

Five winners have been selected in the first-ever National Marquette Day photo submission contest and each of the participants will be in attendance at the men's basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 17 against Providence at the Bradley Center.
Over 300 entries were collected in the contest, which identified the top-five photos that best showcased the spirit of Marquette University.
The winners received round-trip airfare and lodging provided by AirTran and Hilton Milwaukee City Center, respectively. Tickets to the game are also included, along with VIP access and on-court recognition.
The contest will be conducted on an annual basis, with plans for video submissions to be included in the near future.

- Brian Mahoney, Montgomery Village, Mary. - MU Sophomore (painted trio at 2008 UW game)
- Mary Louise Neugent, Des Moines, Iowa - MU '68 (service project in Iowa)
- Ken Radford, Jacksonville, Fla. - MU '01 (doctor in surgery)
- Eric Salys, Austin, Texas - MU '94 (mountain peak in Tanzania)
