Golden Eagles Look to Bounce Back Tuesday Against USF

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team opens a two-game homestand Tuesday evening against USF at the Al McGuire Center. The 8 p.m. tip-off will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports with Jason Knapp (play-by-play) and Ann Schatz (analyst) calling the action.
Tuesday is Milwaukee County night. All Milwaukee county residents (with proof of valid identification) receive half price GA tickets.
The long-time foes will meet for the 18th time with the Golden Eagles holding the series advantage, 15-2. Marquette is 4-2 since the two teams joined the BIG EAST for the 2005-06 season. Marquette has won the last two games against the Bulls.
Marquette (13-9, 4-5 BIG EAST) will be looking to snap a two-game skid where it fell at DePaul (73-63) and at Syracuse (69-60). The Golden Eagles currently sit tied for ninth place in the BIG EAST standings with USF.
The Bulls also sit at 13-9 overall, 4-5 in BIG EAST play. The Bulls dropped a 60-52 decision to Rutgers in their last time out. Jessica Lawson leads USF with 15.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
