Marquette Volleyball Holds Annual Fan Fest

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volleyball program hosted Fan Fest Saturday afternoon for the second-consecutive season under head coach Bond Shymansky. Fans were able catch a glimpse of the 2010 Golden Eagles in action as MU prepares for its season opener Friday, Aug. 27 vs. Stony Brook at the Golden Gopher Invite in Minneapolis.
In a two-set scrimmage Marquette was led by Ciara Jones and Ashley Beyer on the outside, while sophomore Kelsey Mattai picked up where she left off in 2009 with a good number of blocks. The back row was anchored by freshman Julie Jeziorowski who donned the libero jersey during the scrimmage.
