Ashley Bares Named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll

MILWAUKEE - Senior forward Ashley Bares was honored by the BIG EAST Conference Monday afternoon as she was named to the league's weekly honor roll. The honor is Bares' first of the season.

Bares played a key role in MU's 2-1 victory at USF Sept. 17, and figured herself in both MU's goals against the Bulls. Bares scored the Golden Eagles first goal in the 13th minute of the game and provided the game-winning assist of Taylor Madigan's goal in the 66th minute.

With 15 career goals, Bares stands tied for 10th place on MU's all-time goals list.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action at home at Valley Fields against West Virginia Thursday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m.
