McBride Collects Weekly Honors

MILWAUKEE - Senior defender Kerry McBride was honored for her role in the No. 10/13 Marquette University women's soccer team's two wins last week as she was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll and to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Team of the Week.
McBride logged nearly 180 minutes in the two shutout wins over Louisville (1-0) and Cincinnati (4-0). The senior from Elm Grove was integral to MU holding both the Cardinals and Bearcats to one shot on goal apiece.
The honor roll selection is McBride's second of the season, while the recognition by TopDrawerSoccer.com is her first.
The Golden Eagles host a pair of home games this weekend beginning Friday, Oct. 7 when they welcome Providence to Valley Fields. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
