-No. 7 (Associated Press) DePaul is the second highest ranked opponent in the AP poll Marquette has defeated in program history and the second top-10 team it is beaten this season. Marquette topped No. 6 West Virginia on Jan. 11.
- Marquette is 24-35 against teams in the top-25 under head coach Terri Mitchell and 5-3 this season.
-Marquette is 21-34 all-time against DePaul, and 15-9 when playing those games in Milwaukee.
-The win over DePaul is MU's first since the 2008 season when it topped the Blue Demons, 65-56, on Jan. 19, 2008.
-Marquette used the starting lineup of Angel Robinson, Tatiyiana McMorris, Courtney Weibel, Jasmine Collins and Paige Fiedorowicz for the first time this season. It is the third different starting line-up MU has used this season.
-Marquette had four players score in double figures for the 15th time this season.
- Marquette held DePaul to a season-low 53 points. The 53 points is also the fewest DePaul has managed since MU held it to 48 points in a 53-48 Marquette win on Jan. 21, 2001.
- Marquette held DePaul to a season-low 29.2 shooting percentage. The Blue Demons entered the game making 46.1 percent from the floor for the season. DePaul's 28.0 3-point percentage was also below its season average of 34.0 percent.
- Marquette's largest lead of the game was 17 points, 44-27, with 16:18 remaining in the game.
- Marquette finished the home portion of its season 13-3. Marquette is 95-26 all-time at the Al McGuire Center.
-The Golden Eagles 10 BIG EAST wins mark the first time since the 2006-07 season MU has posted 10-or-more conference wins.
