The Marquette University men's basketball team advanced to the program's 14th Sweet 16 in school history in 2010-11, defeating Xavier and Syracuse en route to a trip tot he regional semifinals.
Marquette has now advanced to the NCAA Tournament and at least the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Conference Championship in each of the last six seasons.
