COMPLETE PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE | 2012 MATCH SCHEDULE
The Marquette University women's soccer team, which officially reported to campus Tuesday morning in preparation for the 2012 campaign, has announced the program's promotional schedule for home matches at Valley Fields.
The first opportunity to see the squad in action comes on Thursday, August 9 when the Golden Eagles face Wisconsin in exhibition action (7:30 p.m.) to cap the day's Fan Fest festivities. The event's activities begin at 4:30 p.m. with interactive skill stations, player autographs and raffle prizes.
MU opens the regular season on Friday, August 17 against St. Bonaventure at home on Wisconsin Youth Soccer Night. The entire weekend, which also includes an August 19 matchup with Florida State, will feature reunion activities in honor of 20 years of the women's soccer program at Marquette.
The Marquette men's and women's teams will both host Milwaukee in doubleheader action on August 24. MU fans are being encouraged to try and set the attendance record at Valley Fields and also wear blue as part of the "Navy Nightmare" promotion.
