
Women's Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic Honors

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's lacrosse team earned 2014 NCAA Division I Academic Honor Squad accolades from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), the organization announced Monday morning.
The association honored 84 members of Division I with the honor, which was bestowed upon squads achieving a collective grade-point average about 3.0 for the 2013-14 academic year.
The Golden Eagles had 28 student-athletes earn BIG EAST Conference All-Academic individual honors in 2013-14 for a GPA at-or-above 3.0.
Marquette went 5-12 during its second season of intercollegiate competition, and its inaugural year as a full member of the BIG EAST.
