Volleyball Hosts Open Scrimmage on Saturday

MILWAUKEE - Marquette University women's volleyball fans will receive their first glimpse of the Golden Eagles under first-year head coach Ryan Theis on Saturday, Aug. 23 in an open scrimmage at the Al McGuire Center.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for a kid's club clinic followed by the scrimmage at 2 p.m. The event is free for all to attend.
Following the scrimmage, the Golden Eagles will host a cookout on campus at the Central Mall (off W. Wisconsin Ave., behind the Raynor Memorial Libraries) for those who have previously reserved a spot at the cookout.
Season tickets are available today for $40, while limited courtside seating is available for $70 and includes special access to pre-match chalk talks by coach Theis, in addition to cushioned seats adjacent to the brand new Taraflex court. Admission to kid's clinics, a t-shirt and concession vouchers to specially selected matches are also included with the courtside seats.
