IWLCA Announces 2015 All-Region Teams
MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University junior defender Elizabeth Goslee has been named to the IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Second Team, as announced Monday, May 11.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native, who was an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection, is the first Marquette player to claim All-Region honors. Goslee is coming off a career year in which she led the Blue and Gold with 30 caused turnovers, 30 ground balls and 16 draw controls in her junior season.
She anchored a vaunted defensive unit that held opponents to fewer than 10 goals per game, which was good for third in the BIG EAST Conference.
Goslee was recently named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team and was an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American pick. She's a member of the U.S. Lacrosse Women's National team that is preparing for the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse Women's World Cup in Surrey, England.
Goslee was one of 128 Division I student-athletes honored by the IWLCA, making her eligible for consideration as an IWLCA All-American. The IWLCA is due to announce the All-America teams Monday, May 18.
