Louis Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Marquette University women's volleyball redshirt sophomore Taylor Louis has been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the conference office announced on Monday.

Louis averaged 4.50 kills per set with a .2561 hitting percentage as Marquette went 1-1 last week to open its 12th season of BIG EAST play. The Golden Eagles fell to Creighton before sweeping Providence on Sunday. Against the Friars Louis had a team-high 14 kills and hit a .464 clip.

Marquette (11-3, 1-1) will return home and host Georgetown on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. Central time at the Al McGuire Center and welcome Villanova on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. CT.
