Danielle King Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Marquette University women's basketball sophomore Danielle King was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.

King led Marquette (16-4, 7-2) with a career-high 27 points, including 19 in the second half, grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists in front of her hometown Chicago crowd as the Golden Eagles defeated then No. 19/18 DePaul, 102-101 in overtime.

This is the first weekly certificate for King this season.

Marquette travels to Providence and Creighton this weekend beginning on Friday, Jan. 27 against the Friars at 6 p.m. Central time live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
