NEW YORK - Marquette University goalkeeper Maddy Henry earned her fourth weekly accolade of 2017 on Monday afternoon with inclusion on the BIG EAST Conference's Weekly Honor Roll for women's soccer.
Henry made 22 saves and allowed two goals in a pair of matches against Illinois State on Thursday and at Milwaukee on Sunday night. The sophomore made a career-high 15 saves against the Redbirds, a total that ranks as the fifth-best single game mark in program history and the most for an MU keeper since 2001. She recorded her fourth clean sheet of the year in that match as the Golden Eagles played to a scoreless draw with ISU.
On Sunday, the Omaha, Nebraska native made seven saves in the 2-1 loss at Milwaukee.
She also earned honor roll mention for her play during the opening weekend of the year and has twice been named the league's goalkeeper of the week.
Henry and the Golden Eagles begin their 13th year of BIG EAST action on Sunday, Sept. 24 with a noon Central time showdown at Butler.
