Marquette Lacrosse Announces 2018 Promo Schedule

MILWAUKEE -- Tickets for the Marquette University men's and women's lacrosse home schedule are on sale now and their respective promotional schedules for the 2018 campaign have also been released.
Individual and group tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Marquette Ticket Office at 414-288-4668. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as ticket sales at the door are limited, particularly for games played in the Valley Fields dome (500). The capacity at the west natural grass field is 2,000 and field conditions this winter and spring will determine which games outside of April will be played at the venue.
The men's games against Robert Morris on March 10 and Senior Day against Providence on April 14 are already sold out. The men's national television game against Notre Dame on Wednesday, April 11 is also going quickly.
Between the men and women, a total of 15 contests will take place at Valley Fields.
PROMOTIONS:
The women's squad begins its home slate against Central Michigan on Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. Central time. The first 100 fans will receive a Marquette roll-a-banner sign in the season's first promotional giveaway.
The men's squad opens its season at home a day later, on Feb. 17 against Jacksonville. In honor of US Lacrosse Day, all US Lacrosse members with a valid ID will receive free admission to the Noon CT contest.
Highlighting the remainder of the men's slate is a free pair of MU lacrosse gloves for the first 100 fans in attendance at the Robert Morris game. A month later, the men host Notre Dame on April 11 for T -Shirt Trade-In Day. Any Marquette student may trade in a t-shirt from another NCAA Division I institution for a new Marquette shirt.
In the men's final home contest on April 14 at 2 p.m. CT against Providence, all attendees will be registered to win an assortment of prizes. All season long, the men's promotional schedule will feature t-shirts for every goal scored, a Fan of the Game and Lacrosse Bingo.
The women's side features the same season-long promotions, but also adds its Pancreatic Cancer ("Pan Can") Raffle. Fans may purchase raffle tickets all season long for a chance to win various gift baskets that have been donated to help the team's fundraising efforts toward Pancreatic Cancer awareness and research. The team also hosts its annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness game to round out the home slate on April 28 against Connecticut at Noon CT.
Other promotions that highlight the women's schedule include a Post-Match Skills Clinic after the Feb. 18 game against Kennesaw State. A week later, on Feb. 25, MU will take on Stetson and the first 200 fans will receive a Marquette blanket.
The women's schedule includes a pair of Camper Days (Feb. 18 and April 8), where participants from any Marquette 2017 camp may claim a complimentary youth ticket.
