Blockton Earns Spot on BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK--Marquette University junior Allazia Blockton has been selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
Blockton led Marquette in a 2-0 week, to improve to a perfect 4-0 start in BIG EAST play, the best start in program history. The Milwaukee native averaged 22.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and connected for 60 percent from the field against DePaul and at Creighton. Against the Blue Demons, Blockton tallied her fourth double-double of the season with 25 points and 12 boards.
The Golden Eagles take on Providence, Wednesday, Jan.11 at 6 p.m. CT, live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
